Ducks swimming in Dearborn Park is always a pleasant site. Dearborn Park is located at 1301 Deewood Drive in Decatur. Friends of Dearborn Park is an organization that is tasked with improving the park and keeping it clean and safe, not just for today but to use environmental friendly techniques when removing invasive ivy and cleaning the park, so that it will be around for our kids and grandkids.

The featured photo is one of the Blue Heron that has been in the park for decades now. We don’t know if it’s the same or not, but we want to ensure that this type of wildlife is always around for everyone to enjoy.
