Thanks to Liam Mallon, who hosted his Eagle Project in Dearborn Park Trail, we are thrilled to announce that the project was a great success. Liam and his team built and installed new bridges, and relocated an old bridge to a more beneficial position. Through meticulous planning and execution, they tallied up an impressive total of 113.5 hours.
What is an Eagle Scout Project?
An Eagle Scout Project is a significant endeavor that benefits a school, community, or religious group outside of Scouts, BSA. It must showcase the Scout’s ability to plan, budget time and money, direct, and provide leadership to others.
Being an Eagle Scout is highly regarded by colleges. Many institutions value Eagle Scouts because they recognize the specialized skills, positive character traits, and leadership capabilities these individuals possess. Achieving Eagle Scout status is an excellent way to distinguish yourself in college applications.
