Blue Heron in Dearborn Park Decaturga

This Great Blue Heron was spotted in Dearborn Park on October 15. It has been sighted by Friends of Dearborn Park. Even though there was a huge sewage spill just days before this bird knows where and where not to go. This green space is a sanctuary for all types of wildlife and Friends of Dearborn Park hopes to encourage DeKalb County and the City of Decatur to assist in keeping this as passive green space as there is so little left in this area.
