Now’s your chance to speak up, DeKalb County parkgoers.

In coming weeks, the county will host a series of public meetings to hear from residents as it prepares to update its 10-year parks master plan, which will guide future improvements and program development.

 

The first meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 at Mason Mill Recreation Center, located at 1340 McConnell Drive in Decatur. 

The above address is closet to Midway Woods and Winnona Park.

Additional meetings will be held on the following dates and the following locations. All meetings will run from 6 to 8 p.m

  • Jan. 30 at Gresham Park Recreation Center, 3113 Gresham Road in Decatur
  • Feb. 4 at Redan Recreation Center, 1839 Phillips Road in Lithonia
  • Feb. 5 at Hamilton Recreation Center, 3262 Chapel St. in Scottdale
