Friends of Dearborn Park has been invited to attend the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs meeting to update their 10-Year Master Plan.  The ads for the majority of homes sold in our adjacent area include Dearborn Park as an amenity and thus it has contributed to the continued growth of Midway Woods and W. Dearborn Circle/Chevelle/Candler Street neighborhoods. Please voice your ideas and opinions on the direction you’d like to see for Dearborn Park within that 10-year Master Plan.

Send your ideas and suggestions to:

DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is in the process of updating its 10-Year Master Plan.  The purpose of this planning process is to develop goals and objectives that will strive to meet the needs and interests of county residents for the next ten (10) years in the areas of: recreation programs and facilities, stewardship of natural areas and maintenance of existing recreation facilities and parks.  In addition, the Plan will establish priorities for improvements to the current park system as well as the need and priority of future recreation facilities and parks.

We hope to hear from many of you and we will share your ideas!
