When: Saturday, March 6

When: 10 a.m. to noon

Where: The area of Dearborn park that runs along Midway Road

Who: Dearborn Area Nature Alliance

Friends of Dearborn Park would like for you to join Dearborn Area Nature Alliance to beautify this high-visibility area of the park. With a two-hour neighborhood effort, we can enhance the day-to-day experience of all of us who walk and drive along Midway or whose homes overlook the parks.  Most importantly, the area will be more hospitable to the magnificent native trees, other native vegetation, and wildlife who live in this space.

Bring garden saws and clippers if you have them, and water to keep hydrated. Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts and gloves. Social distancing will be practiced (there should be plenty of room to spread out) so please wear a mask as well. DANA volunteers will be on hand to help instruct you on what is need and get you started.

Help your park while enjoying a safe and fun outdoor activity!

This may even inspire you to do so in your own backyard
